Florida Cabin Fever Quilters Guild opened its doors to Central Florida 30 years ago. Since then, our members have produced thousands of quilts for community service as well as personal use. Our annual programs include a mystery quilt, a challenge quilt, a 12-month block of the month program (available to non-members as well) and an annual retreat. We bring in national teachers to host workshops and lectures. Our teachers have included Trish Stuart, Laura Wasilowski, Kimberly Einmo, Andrea Schnur, Nancy Prince, Suzanne Marshall, Joan Shay and Karol Kusmaul.
The Sit-n-Sew on October 15 will feature the technique for creating these gorgeous Prairie Point Ornaments from 5″ squares. Check the calendar for more information and a supply list.
If you want to work on a different ornament project, bring any Christmas fabric that you might have to be used in projects, a walking foot for your machine, and basic sewing materials. If you have a small mat, rotary cutter, and ruler, that would be nice.
Check the Calendar of Events for details of what else is coming up for the Guild.
