Florida Cabin Fever Quilters Guild opened its doors to Central Florida 30 years ago. Since then, our members have produced thousands of quilts for community service as well as personal use. Our annual programs include a mystery quilt, a challenge quilt, a 12-month block of the month program (available to non-members as well) and an annual retreat. We bring in national teachers to host workshops and lectures. Our teachers have included Trish Stuart, Laura Wasilowski, Kimberly Einmo, Andrea Schnur, Nancy Prince, Suzanne Marshall, Joan Shay and Karol Kusmaul.

Our Saturday Sit-n-Sews are on the 3rd Saturday of the month at Wandering Stitches Quilting Studio, 5818 Hoffner Ave #905, Orlando, FL 32822.

Check the Calendar of Events for details of what else is coming up for the Guild.

Next Meeting – August 29, 2016

Social hour from 5 to 6 p.m., business meeting begins at 6 p.m., program follows

National award winning quilter Nancy Fishpaw will be presenting a trunk show and lecture.  In addition to MQS, MQA and MQX, she has won many Best Long Arm Quilter awards at local shows.  Nancy has been long arming for about 9 years.  She has both computerized and hand guided long arms.  Frustrated with the number of rulers needed to complete her custom quilting, Nancy has created her own muti-arc and shape rulers to make custom quilting easier.  Nancy will share some of her gorgeous quilts and how she gets ideas to quilt them.
