2021 Block of the Month – The Disappearing Quilt

The 2021 Block of the Month patterns will all be disappearing blocks. Disappearing blocks start off as one kind of block (such as a 9-patch) which is then cut and rearranged to make a completely different block. Use any fabric you have available in your stash, even scraps, for the blocks.

The monthly instructions will identify fabrics as W (white or blender), M (medium) or D (dark). Try to stick to just three different fabrics each month so you can see the disappearing blocks in all their glory!

A show-and-tell for completed quilts will be held at the February 2022 meeting; these quilts will be voted on and the top three winners will be awarded a prize.
